For some legal tech entrepreneurs, disruption is just a day at the office—or trade show. At this year’s LegalTech New York, a newly minted Innovation Pavilion, sponsored by Stanford University’s think tank for legal informatics, Codex, with ALM Media, showcased ten startups—each with a unique offering for reshaping the legal industry.

The startups, who received free exhibit space in the Pavilion, demonstrated an eclectic array of products and services covering compliance, due diligence, practice management, online marketplaces, research, big data and more. Exhibitors also got a shot at presenting three-minute shark tank style pitches during a mid-conference lightning round event.
