Linklaters has offered its associates pay rises of up to 5%, cementing its place as the highest-paying magic circle firm for junior lawyers.

The firm is raising the rate for lawyers with three years post-qualification experience (PQE) by £4,500, with associates receiving up to £93,500, up 5% from the £89,000 salary on offer last year. Lawyers with two years PQE will receive up to £82,000, which is also up by almost 5% on last year’s pay of £78,250.
