The City of London Law Society (CLLS) has set out its objectives for 2008, with the organisation intending to step up its lobbying activities and bolster its membership.

The body’s latest business plan, announced in mid-February, outlines nine objectives for the year. Key goals include improving the representation of members’ interests with the Government and other regulatory bodies, recruiting additional members, promoting City solicitors and improving its own internal management.
