Clifford Chance (CC) is to transfer corporate partner Iain Hunter to its Dubai arm in a bid to win investment mandates from the region as the Middle East fast becomes a key battleground for the City elite.
Hunter is expected to focus on securing instructions from the firm’s Middle East clients investing in the region and in Europe. He has been given a brief to shore up the firm’s local links with investment banks, which are setting up in growing numbers in the Dubai International Financial Centre.
