US giant Wilmer Cutler Pickering, Hale and Dorr has made its most senior hire since its merger, appointing John Rogovin, the general counsel of the US regulator the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

Rogovin, who has spent four years at the Government body responsible for regulating US communications, is expected to leave the FCC to become a partner in Wilmer Cutler’s Washington DC hub within the next month
