Leading IP set Hogarth Chambers has merged with former IP rival, 19 Old Buildings. The combined set, which was formed on 1 October, will continue under the Hogarth banner and will be headed by existing Hogarth co-heads Christopher Morcom QC and Kevin Garnett QC. Sue Harding will remain as senior clerk of the merged set.

The merger talks were spearheaded by Alastair Wilson QC, of 19 Old Buildings, who approached Morcom and Garnett with a merger proposal after Wilson’s set lost two of its six members.
