Clinical negligence specialist Guy Mansfield QC has been elected unopposed as the new chairman of the Bar Council.
Mansfield, currently vice chair, practises from 1 Crown Office Row. He assumes the role in January, taking over from incumbent Stephen Irwin QC of Doughty Street. He was elected unopposed.
