Norton Rose looks set to scoop the coveted lead commercial advisory role for bluechip mobile phone alliance FreeMove after a tender process against 11 other City firms.

The announcement, which is due this week, follows a review of advisers in recent months and unseats previous adviser Clifford Chance (CC), the firm that set up the joint venture, although CC is expected to continue to advise the alliance on other issues.
