staff explore their inner childAre all lawyers closet ‘kidults’, who read Harry Potter and count The Lion King among their favourite films? Evidence has reached Legal Week that Brighton’s finest do indeed enjoy regressing to their kindergarten days – all in the name of becoming better lawyers, of course. Brighton firm DMH takes an arty approach to getting the best out of its staff; in fact its AGM was a painting day in the seaside town.

“We had trestle tables the full length of the Corn Exchange and all our staff in overalls for an exercise which encouraged them to take risks with mark making,” said the firm. “After the session we took some of the creations, framed them and exhibited them in our galleries which created a lot of interest and positive feedback.” And who says lawyers are risk averse? Crazy stuff.
