Oil giant Royal Dutch/Shell is relocating about half of its London legal team to The Hague in a move that will establish the Dutch office as its primary centre for in-house lawyers.

The Ftse 100 company is set to move about 30 of its 70-lawyer London team across to The Hague, which already houses 50 lawyers and is led by new global general counsel Beat Hess, who started in June.
