An International Bar Association (IBA) taskforce has called for business lawyers to be given free rein to advise their clients in any country in the world on a temporary basis.

The recommendation, which has been made by the IBA Taskforce on Multi-jurisdictional Commercial Practice, would legitimise the so-called practise of ‘fly in, fly out’ law, which has been a source of considerable controversy in recent years.
