US firm Shearman & Sterling has advised international mobile network operator France Telecom on its £10.7bn rights issue – the largest rights offering in corporate history.
Shearmans gave French, UK and US legal advice on the deal, which was led by New York-based managing partner Robert Treuhold, supported by capital markets partner Clifford Atkins in London and Paris capital markets partner Herve Letreguilly.
