Lovells is in pole position to scoop key advisory roles on seven high-profile private-public partnerships (PPP) in Hungary as the Central European country prepares to implement a new regime to pilot PPPs.

Lovells’ local arm, 12-lawyer Squarra & Partos, is the leading contender for the work after the firm last year won the sole legal advisory position on the Hungarian Government’s PPP committee, which drew up a recommended framework for national projects.
