Andersen Legal’s City practice Garretts is in rescue talks with the London office of KLegal following this week’s agreed takeover of the scandal-hit Andersen by KPMG.
A London merger is the centrepiece of a dramatic bid to bring the global network of Andersen Legal, the largest legal practice yet built by an accountant, into KLegal in the wake of KPMG’s takeover of Andersen’s non-US businesses, which was announced on 19 March.
