One would be hard pressed to find a firm that isn’t organized by some form of a practice group model, but firm managing partners don’t have much confidence in the performance of those groups, according to a recent survey.

As it turns out, firm leaders seem to be more satisfied with the nonlawyer professionals who support the practice groups, according to the ratings given to various support staff levels.
