SAN FRANCISCO — After considering more drastic measures to help ensure Barry Bonds gets a fair trial, Northern District federal Judge Susan Illston ruled today that juror names will remain secret until they are discharged.

Not only is there intense media attention to the case, but there also is a relatively unique risk of jurors being exposed to evidence and areas of testimony that have been deemed inadmissible due to key witness and Bonds former trainer Greg Anderson’s refusal to testify, the judge said.
