Australia’s Gilbert + Tobin has hired a former Macquarie Capital investment banker as a partner in Perth.

Justin Mannolini was until April this year an executive director for Australian investment bank Macquarie Capital in Perth. He currently chairs the board of Perth-based fintech startup Kikka Capital. Mannolini starts on Oct. 3 at Gilbert + Tobin and will help the firm grown its western Australian practice, which emphasizes the energy and resources sectors. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets transactions.
