Australia’s Gilbert + Tobin has hired two new partners in Sydney and Perth.

Costas Condoleon will join the firm’s Sydney headquarters in July from Minter Ellison where he currently oversees mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets transactions. Last year, he advised Sydney-based telecom company Vocus Communications on a $920 million merger with peer Amcom Telecommunications Ltd. In 2014, Condoleon represented the New South Wales government on a $1.6 billion lease of Australia’s port of Newcastle to state-owned China Merchants Group Ltd. He’s been a partner with Minter Ellison since 1999.
