Proskauer Rose has hired former Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy Hong Kong partner Joshua Zimmerman as head of capital markets practice in Asia.
Zimmerman specializes in high-yield bond, leveraged finance, acquisition finance and sovereign debt transactions as well as Hong Kong and SEC-registered equity listings. Last year, he advised Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank A.G. and HSBC on a $579 million financing to Hong Kong-based Nord Anglia Education for the acquisition of six schools. In 2014, he also represented Chinese theme park operator Haichang Holdings Ltd. on a $316 million initial public offering in Hong Kong.
