Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman has hired an intellectual property litigation partner in Shanghai.

Jack Ko arrives from Perkins Coie where he was a San Diego-based partner, advising on patent litigation and investigations before district courts and the United States International Trade Commission. Ko was an electrical engineer before going into legal practice and specializes in semiconductor design and wireless communications. Fluent in Mandarin, he had represented leading Taiwanese manufacturers such as HTC Corp. and ASUSTek Computer Inc.
