DLA Piper Beijing partner and chief representative John Shi has left the firm to join U.K. firm Bird & Bird’s office in the Chinese capital.
Shi joins with former DLA Piper Beijing of counsel Shan Lai, who has been promoted to partner at Bird & Bird. Both Shi and Lai are corporate lawyers, representing multinationals on foreign direct investments, mergers and acquisitions and related regulatory and compliance issues in China.
