Clifford Chance has hired a project finance partner in Sydney.

Richard Gordon will start at Clifford Chance on Sept. 1. He joins from Australian firm Allens where he currently oversees the firm’s banking and financial institutions practice. In August 2014, he advised a lender consortium led by the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd. on a $1.2 billion debt refinancing of Sydney’s Westlink M7 motorway. In April 2014, he also represented state-owned investment fund QIC Ltd. on a $6.6 billion divestment of toll road operator Queensland Motorways Ltd. to Transurban Group.
