O’Melveny & Myers advised Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. on a $375 million movie financing deal with China’s most popular television production company Hunan TV and Broadcast Intermediary Co.

Based in central China’s Changsha city, Hunan TV has agreed to fund a quarter of Lions Gate’s $1.5 billion-worth movie productions over the next three years, including action-adventure film “Gods of Egypt,” action thriller “The Last Witch Hunter” and romantic thriller “Age of Adaline.” The deal does not include, however, the upcoming sequels to Lions Gate blockbusters such as “The Hunger Games” and “Twilight.”
