India’s J. Sagar Associates has opened a new office in the western Indian city of Ahmedabad with the hire of partner Bijal Chhatrapati.
Chhatrapati, the only partner of the three-lawyer office, will run its day to day business. He specializes in commercial disputes resolution and mergers and acquisitions. Chhatrapati had been a partner with Indian firm Singhi & Co. for 15 years before joining J. Sagar and previously had his own practice, Chhatrapati & Associates, for 14 years.
