Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy has represented Indonesia’s Lion Air on a $1.2 billion jet engine purchase from CFM International.

The 124 engines will power 60 A320 aircraft the company bought last year. The deal also includes the development of an engine maintenance and repair facility in Northern Indonesia’s Batam city and a repair program that covers 1,000 aircraft engines that are currently in service or on order at Lion Air.
