Law students in Singapore may soon feel the pinch in job hunting as the city-state begins to see a mismatch in supply and demand in its legal profession.

Last month, speaking at a conference cohosted by Singapore Management University (SMU) and National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore Minister for Law K. Shanmugam estimated a 30 percent increase in law graduates in the next three years, adding that local firms may not have enough training contracts for them.
