Squire Patton Boggs has boosted its Perth office with the hire of four lawyers from energy and resources boutique Allion Legal.
Partner Simon Rear advises on M&A and equity capital markets transactions in the energy and resources sectors. He previously advised Perth-based Griffin Coal Mining Co. Ltd. on a $665 million acquisition by India’s Lanco Infratech Ltd. in 2010, and the underwriters of mining giant Rio Tinto Group’s $15.2 billion rights issue in 2009.
