International law firms Herbert Smith Freehills and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer served as legal advisors in American confectionery company Mars’ acquisition of AIM-listed British chocolate manufacturer Hotel Chocolat.
HSF acted for Hotel Chocolat in the transaction, which was worth £534 million, while Freshfields advised the buyer. Norton Rose Fulbright advised financial adviser Morgan Stanley.
