Four-day work weeks, part-time hours, remote working, shared parental leaves: it is clear that firms are willing to provide flexible working and think outside the box. But lawyers have pointed to a lack of clear communication, social repercussions, and struggles when accessing these models, all of which have created a disparity with how women and men approach the topic; women often struggling with existing polices, and men ignoring them entirely due to social and work pressures.
