Barclays has launched a legal technology hub in London, backed by a raft of major law firms including Allen & Overy, Clifford Chance and Simmons & Simmons.

The bank has also received backing for the hub from the Law Society, a professional association for solicitors in England and Wales. The tech hub, which will be based in the London neighborhood of Notting Hill, will provide co-working space for up to 100 individuals working on innovative legal technology projects.
