Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw has hired nine partners from Crowell & Moring as the US giant bulks up its securities, litigation and corporate practices. The group, which is headed by Richard Morvillo and includes Pat Conti, Crowell’s former chair of securities regulation and enforcement practice and ex-Securities and Exchange Commission enforcement lawyer, joins the firm’s Washington DC and New York offices. Securities partners Bruce Bettigole, Joseph Goldstein, Peter White and Jeffrey Robertson and corporate trio Kathryn McGrath, Stephanie Monaco and Elizabeth Knoblock also become partners.
