A federal judge in Virginia has transferred a patent dispute between a subsidiary of Nestle Holdings and a foreign company to the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, saying Wilmington is the more convenient venue to try the case.

Nespresso USA, a Delaware corporation, had initially filed suit in the Eastern District of Virginia, seeking declaratory judgment from the court that it did not infringe upon a patent held by the Swiss corporation Ethical Coffee Co.
