Two Wal-Mart Stores Inc. shareholders have filed separate derivative suits in the Delaware Court of Chancery over allegations that the company’s Mexican affiliate, Walmex, bribed government officials in order to obtain permits to build stores in specific locations.

Shareholder Henrietta Klein filed her lawsuit,Klein v. Walton , on April 25 in the Chancery Court. It was quickly followed by Elsie Cohen, who filed a suit,Cohen v. Alvarez , on April 27.
