Google was hit with a patent infringement lawsuit on Oct. 6 in Delaware District Court. The court action, which asserts four patents for methods and systems related to e-commerce and deep-linking technology, was brought by Ashby & Geddes and Bunsow De Mory on behalf of Metarail Inc. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:23-cv-01116, Metarail, Inc. v. Google LLC.
