Hybrid Jeep owners have filed a class action complaint in Delaware federal court, claiming they wouldn’t have paid more for a vehicle that could run on electricity if they had known the feature would shut off without warning.

Wilmington attorney P. Bradford deLeeuw is representing the plaintiff in the case, who is seeking repairs or buybacks of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xes that were billed as hybrids but have been reported to frequently lock into gas-only mode. Of counsel are Migliaccio & Rathod, Gustafson Gluek and the Scott Hirsch Law Group.
