Following his loss last month in the Delaware Supreme Court, TransPerfect Global Inc. co-founder Philip Shawe is again focusing on a $100,000 scholarship contest that asks law students to craft the best appeal of the decision to the nation’s high court.

Thursday’s announcement of the Philip R. Shawe Scholarship Competition came after a false start in December that delayed the contest’s rollout until after oral arguments earlier this year. But Shawe is now off and running, with a refined approach and a high-profile panel of judges that includes two retired New York state judges and Alan Dershowitz, the constitutional law professor and outspoken member of Shawe’s legal team.
