The Delaware Court of Chancery has confirmed an arbitration award of more than $86,000 to a Delaware construction company for unpaid work at the Wilmington home of a state representative and his wife.

SC&A Construction Inc. petitioned the Chancery Court to uphold the award and its motion for summary judgment in the case, captioned SC&A Construction v. Potter. State Rep. Charles Potter Jr., D-Wilmington North, and his wife, Velda C. Jones-Potter, a former state treasurer, had challenged the validity of the arbitration, but their request to vacate was time-barred because the couple waited well beyond the 90-day window to contest the award.
