A Delaware bankruptcy judge has denied a bid to fast-track to the Third Circuit appeals of his decision on how to split up $7.3 billion in Nortel assets.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Kevin Gross of the District of Delaware said July 30 that taking the multiple appeals of his allocation decision to the district court first would not unnecessarily delay a case that has already generated more than $1.3 billion in legal fees over six years.
