Delaware Gov. Jack Markell is set to serve as speaker for Widener University School of Law’s 40th commencement.
Markell will address approximately 275 graduates at the ceremony scheduled for 3 p.m. May 17 on the campus green in Wilmington. He will also be presented with an honorary doctor of laws degree.
