Governor Jack Markell has nominated Vivian L. Rapposelli and Paul R. Wallace for the two newly created judgeships on the New Castle County Superior Court. He has also nominated Carl C. Danberg to fill the vacancy created on the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas when Judge Eric M. Davis was appointed to the Superior Court.

Rapposelli and Wallace were nominated for two positions on the Superior Court, which were created by legislation passed by the General Assembly in May 2012. Rapposelli is the nominee for the Democratic opening and Wallace will be considered for the Republican vacancy. Both positions are set to start sometime this month.
