Seven bills were introduced in the General Assembly on June 10 with the goal of improving the set of tools that the state has to detect and punish pedophiles.

The package of bills was drafted to incorporate the recommendations of two reports issued in mid-May that detailed how multiple warning signs regarding accused molester Dr. Earl Bradley were never acted upon because of confusion over responsibilities and plain error.
