The workday at the Williams Law Firm paused Wednesday at noon while staff gathered in the Wilmington office’s conference room to watch for the first time as a Delawarean was sworn in as president.

While President Joe Biden hasn’t practiced law in the state for a while, Delaware attorneys said Wednesday it’s exciting to see someone from the state hold the nation’s highest office.
