Editor’s note: This is state Supreme Court Chief Justice Leo E. Strine Jr.’s State of the Judiciary speech given May 15.

The state of our judiciary is strong: We are able to manage most of our cases in a timely way; the relationship between the Delaware bar and our courts remains excellent; and businesses continue to view Delaware as the state of choice for incorporating. Of course, we as a judiciary have challenges, including fiscal ones, but together, we will continue to face them head-on, and are comforted that we can do so with the stalwart support of the Delaware bar.
