A federal jury has awarded nearly $2.7 million to a woman who said she was forced out of her job when she declined to lie on behalf of a man accused of sexual harassment.
Ironically, the verdict won by Loretta Aqeel last month is more than 46 times what was collected by Martha Parrish, the woman who claimed she was sexually harassed.
