For the second time in the past week, the Georgia Court of Appeals has ruled against an insurance company over uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage.

Presiding Judge M. Yvette Miller authored an opinion released Wednesday reversing a summary judgment for Allstate Insurance Co. against one of its customers. The company claimed it had canceled the UM coverage at $5 million and lowered it to $100,000 but could not produce a receipt for notice to that effect. The customer denied the reduction in coverage took place.
