Law firms and other legal organizations raised more than $190,000 in online donations for the Atlanta Community Food Bank over the two-week Georgia Legal Food Frenzy.
Final totals will be determined in the next few weeks, as donations of cans and other supplies are tallied. The online donations alone can feed more than 9,000 families of four people for a week. That figure is based on three meals per person per day, and the food bank’s ability to turn $1 into four meals.
