Kennesaw State University president Sam Olens has brought his No. 2 lawyer from the state Office of the Attorney General to lead the school’s legal department.

KSU announced on Jan. 10 that Jeff Milsteen has been appointed as the university’s chief legal affairs officer, effective immediately. In that role, he will oversee KSU’s legal affairs and advise senior leadership on both legal and business matters, the university said in a statement.
