After four years as the top lawyer at Colonial Pipeline Co., Meredith Lackey is headed to Georgia Power.
The Georgia Power Co. board of directors on Tuesday elected Lackey general counsel, senior vice president, corporate secretary and chief compliance officer of the largest subsidiary of Southern Co. She succeeds Thomas Bishop, who after more than seven years as Georgia Power’s top lawyer became Southern Co.’s SVP, chief compliance officer and deputy GC in January, according to his LinkedIn profile.
