For Joe Potente, a current 3L at the University of Georgia School of Law, a highlight of law school was externing in the legal department of Rollins Inc. one day a week. He gained valuable insight into matters you just can’t pick up in the classroom, like what in-house lawyers want in outside counsel, the legal needs of the modern business, and what occurs during client meetings.
Now he sees going in-house as his ultimate career goal.
