In his previous jobs as an in-house lawyer, Adam Haigh had to stay on top of emerging issues in information technology. These days, as the top lawyer at at HoneyBaked Ham Co., he’s learning all about pigs.

Haigh, 42, took the reins as HoneyBaked Ham’s first-ever general counsel in June. Last year, HoneyBaked Ham consolidated three separate operating companies in Georgia, Michigan and Ohio into a single corporate entity, headquartered in Alpharetta. Three families, all descendants of HoneyBaked Ham founder Harry Hoenselaar, folded their operations together into a company with almost $500 million in revenue.
